Jammu : Pakistani rangers shelled mortars and fired at forward areas along the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district all through Tuesday night.
The Pakistani side started firing and shelling along the international border in Hiranagar sector late Tuesday night, officials said.

Civilian areas were affected by the shelling, army said.
“Pakistan Army mortars targeted Indian residential areas,” a senior Indian Army officer said, adding that the Army is retaliating fiercely to Pakistan.
