Islamabad: Pakistan Army on Sunday claimed to have downed the ninth Indian spy quadcopter this year.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the drone was shot in the Hot Spring Sector along the Line of Control.
“The quadcopter had intruded 850 metres on Pakistan’s side of the LoC,” ISPR tweeted.

In May, two quadcopters were reportedly shot down within the same week.
Following the shooting down of the two drones that had crossed over within the same weeek, Director-General ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar had warned India that Pakistan would respond with full might to any misadventure and that it should “not play with fire”.
