Only manufactures, service providers need to register with MSME: Asstt Director Saheel Alaqband

Asstt Director, MSME Saheel Yaqoob Alaqband on Monday clarified that only manufactures and service providers need to register themselves with MSME.

It is learnt that people are getting SMS alerts from a particular bank to obtain Udyam certificate for their businesses. “Only manufacturers and service providers come under MSME,” MSME Head, Kashmir chapter, Suheel Alaqband said.

“Only Manufacturing and Service Company can register (Any type of Product Manufacturer or Service Provider). Traders are not allowed to register,” he said.

Alaqband said that there is no need for wholesalers or traders to register their businesses with MSME.
