One person died while another sustained grievous injuries after the vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road from Sangri Top area of Sopore town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.
Official sources told Good Morning Kashmir that a private vehicle with HR number (Wagon R) rolled down from Sangri Top Sopore resulting in serious injuries to two persons.
The official said that both injured were immediately taken to Sub District Hospital (SDH), Sopore where one among them was declared dead on arrival, while another injured was referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment.
A doctor at the hospital also confirmed this road mishap to Good Morning Kashmir and identified the deceased as Umar Ziki while the injured was identified as Iqbal Najar.
The doctor further said that the injured person has been referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile, police took cognizance of this road mishap.
