Saving a living creature is the most difficult thing on earth. The power of protection is given to Doctors next to the Almighty. A rare blessing to the world. These are real heroes, life savers for the ailing people worldwide who can be completely trusted in times of serious health issues, above all “health is wealth”. The moment people are caught with chronic illness or disease they have the ability to cure and make it happen.Even if the disease in incurable, they give their hundred percent to save the patient. Doctors not only work during the day but have to sacrifice their nights too just to see patients stable and recovering. Their 24/7 contribution to the people is really appreciated all over the world. They work so much that they even forget to eat their meals on time. These medical experts have to also give up their social life for the sake of sick people. On holidays also they have to report in times of medical emergencies. It requires a lot of patience to deal with such a difficult profession. Their only target is to save the life of people.
Their hands are like magical wands. As far as our valley is concerned doctors are healing patients very well but it is unfortunate that there are few who take their profession for granted and have become careless day by day. Many deaths are occurring in Kashmir due to the negligence of these professionals. Especially the pregnant ladies become a victim of this injustice. Every week we come to hear the death news of conceiving ladies. This is because some doctors have become less attentive and have a phlegmatic approach towards this profession. There are some doctors also who are tempted to make money by running private clinics despite having secure Government jobs in the medical field. They work in their clinics with avidity and give full attention to their patient’s health issues and when it comes to working in Government hospitals they become sluggish. These doctors care for their own clinics and leave the patients untreated in hospitals. Sometimes they arrive late and leave the public waiting outside. They earn handsome salaries but still open additional private shops. Here the poor have to suffer a lot. Some get irritated in treating patients and even scolding them. Not every doctor is like that but nowadays some professionals play with the lives of people. We should always try to do our job with all honesty. One must inculcate the right intentions for the helpless people so that humanity remains forever. To make a nation strong each one of us has to contribute and work with enthusiasm no matter how difficult the work is. We request the LG administration to close these private clinics as soon as possible so that the doctors of our valley can concentrate exclusively on patients in Government hospitals so that poor people can get proper treatment.
