A team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) reached Gagangeer in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday, following a major terror attack that claimed the lives of six labourers and a doctor, officials said.

An official said that a team, led by a senior officer, arrived at the attack site this morning. “The NIA will investigate all possible angles related to this attack,” he said.
Six construction workers and a doctor were killed when terrorists opened fire at a construction site in the Gagangeer area last evening.
The attack has drawn widespread condemnation, with former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah terming it a “cowardly” act.
