‘Muslims no more safe in India,’ says Pak FM Shah Mahmood

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Thursday said that Muslim minorities are no more safe in India.

“Pakistan is highlighting the issue of Islamophobia at every international forum, the blasphemy incident in Bengalaru has hurt the sentiments of Muslims.”

“Pakistan has the right to raise this issue,” Qureshi was quoted as saying by Pakistani media, adding that the Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, and other international organisations should take notice of the incident.

Qureshi said that Pakistan on Wednesday had strongly condemned the incident and sent a message to the Indian High Commission in Islamabad.
