Srinagar: “We all have an unexpected reserve of strength inside that emerges when life puts us to test”. This famous saying truly describes Muhammad Hussain Khan, an emerging writer as well as poet of the age 17 years old encountered history books since childhood, only to discover the author within.
Born in middle class family in Chanapora area of Srinagar city, Muhammad Hussain Khan at the age of 11, wrote his first novel entitled “The Man of the Reich,” he usually studies the modern history, and reads the classic literate most of the time.
Hussain’s new book entitled “The Consulting Detective” sends a positive message, and the book has a great role in life.
A student of 11th class at New Convent Higher Secondary, Hussain says his aim in life is to become a successful historian, archeologist and a noted author.
He is among those rare children who have authored a book at such a teen age. Hussain has earned the fame over nights by becoming youngest author of Kashmir with his 2nd book “The Consulting Detective“.
“Since I enjoy reading history, I’m willing to sacrifice my playtime, i am not deprived of enjoyment and at the same time I complete all my school assignments so I can find time to write,” Husain said.
“He is calm, peace lover. All his activities carry a message. He is an intelligent student and loves to write. Suitable placement of words is really admirable. It seems Hussain is completely an expert but he is a young boy, his action is really praise worthy”, said one of Hussain’s relative.
I’ve been blessed with many positive reviews and editorials, and I’ve also received many kind messages from readers, Muhammad Hussain Khan said.
“Kashmir doesn’t really see too many youngsters aspiring to become authors and being socially aware of the every-day happenings around the world,” said one of his friend.
“Hussain is a welcome change. We need more such young boys as well as girls to think big and think educated,” he added.
Despite being a 21st century boy, Muhammad Hussain still listens to classic rock and pop bands like; Beatles, Queen, Led Zeppelin etc.and thinks that these rock and pop bands made the real music. Not only the music, but Hussain is also quite fond of ‘Marilyn Monroe’ which he calls his second darling after history.
