This book consists of 14 chapters, every chapter makes us realize how Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) has spent his life, how he dealt with the struggles, cruelties of Kufar, Quraish, and others. This book also showed initially how much Quraishites loved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.A.S) but later how this love was changed into hostility when Prophet Muhammad (S.A.A.S) called people towards the path of Allah, they started hating him, harming him, and so on. On the other side, the behavior of Qurashites was getting harsher day by day. The important incident of interruption of Wahi (revelation) is discussed in detail in this chapter.

The fourth chapter of this book under the title “Pehli Pukar” deals with the three years of secret call of Prophet Muhammad’s (S.A.A.S) towards Allah’s path. The author discussed here in this chapter the love and support from his uncle Abu Talib and the cruelty from his 2nd uncle Abu Lahab, Who used to harm Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). The Prophet’s sermon on Mount Safa and the kind support of Abu Talib at that time is also mentioned in it.

The fifth chapter under the title “Toofani Kashmukash” deals with the opposition of Qurashites to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.A.S) especially Abu Jahal, who was very harsh towards Prophet Muhammad (S.A.A.S). This chapter also deals with the acceptance of Hamzah’s Islam, by his conversation the Kufar lost their courage and now they started harming Muslims very badly.

The fourteenth and last chapter of this book under the title “Dam I Wapsi” deals with Hajj al Wada (The farewell hajj) of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.A.S) and the sermon which he (S.A.A.S) gave at Arafat and Prophet Muhammad’s (S.A.A.S) last advice to Muslims. Finally the author has mentioned the days before the death of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.A.S) and his decision to make Abu Bakr as Caliph for Muslims and finally the last moments of Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.A.S) on the earth. انا لله وانا اليه راجعون ( We belong to Allah and to Allah we shall return).

Islam is an exclusive religion because its doctrines and practices are open only to true believers. This book “Muhammad Arabi” not only provides us the historical background of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.A.S) but also provides us with great moral lessons.

Innayat ullah Asab Subhani has written this book in the Urdu language in a systematic way, after reading this book I am very eager to read other books related to the history of Islam and the life of Prophet Muhammad ( S.A.A.S). This book contains so many lessons, when I completed this book I cried a lot as its language is so impressive that one can feel its words. This book should have an important place in the book of biographies. The important characteristic of this book is that while reading it, the reader feels the love of Allah and the Messenger (S.A.A.S).

I recommend this book for beginners as this book is written in an easy language and in a very polite way, one can understand it easily. Summarising such a great and deep journey leaves me in tears because of its rich lessons and strong Islamic teachings.
