Mooj Kasheer, a non-governmental organisation on Wednesday distributed masks at certain places in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
In a mask distribution awareness programme, Mooj Kasheer distributed masks at certain places in Nowgam area of the city to make people aware about new coronavirus variant.
“It is our duty to be a responsible citizen and make people aware of this deadly virus”, says Amir Rashid, Chairman MOOJ Kasheer welfare trust, a non-governmental organisation.

“With second wave of Covid 19, people of Kashmir are requested to take precautions and stop the spread of Covid virus,'” says Insha Khan, spokesperson Mooj kasheer welfare trust. Adding that our organisation took this step to aware people of Jammu & Kashmir about the new corona virus strain.
The organisation is also planning to spread awareness by distributing masks in other parts of the valley as well.
‘We have always worked for the betterment of society. So this mask distribution drive is to make Kashmir safe and virus free. We request people to wear masks to save their lives and the lives of their loved ones,” Amir added.
