This year many roads got macadamized; however, this arterial 8 kilometers road which connects our village with district headquarter is in a very bad condition and dotted with huge potholes and bumps due to which the commuters are facing tremendous inconvenience.

“The passenger vehicles have to move at snail’s pace in order to avoid the potholes and bumps,” said Naveed Badhana, a local resident of Choolan.

Badhana said that during rainfall, the potholes get filled with water and thus making the pedestrian movement very difficult.

When contacted 2nd incharge, BEECON, said that the work on the said road is in progress and will be macadamized till April next year.

“Lot have been achieved this year, presently the work is in progress, and the road is expected to be macadamized till April next year,” he added.
