New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a special economic package of Rs 20 lakh crore which is 10 per cent of India’s GDP. The special economic package is for the labourers, farmers, honest taxpayers, MSMEs and cottage industry, PM Modi said.

There is unprecedented crisis but India will neither get tired nor give up the fight against coronavirus, and asserted that “we have to protect ourselves and move ahead as well”.
Further, Prime Minister said, “The crisis has brought a key opportunity for India. We are at a critical juncture in this fight. A self-reliant India is the only way forward. We need to make India excel in a post-COVID world order.”
