A 8-years-old minor was serious injured after being hit by a private vehicle at Diladar area of Karnah in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

An official said that the incident occurred in Dildar area of Karnah involving a Bareeza car with the registration number JK09C-0879.
He said that the car was traveling from Tanghdar towards Chamkote when it hit the pedestrian, identified as Ayaan Maqbool (8), the son of Mohd Maqbool, a resident of Dildar Karnah. The minor sustained severe injuries as a result of the accident.
The injured Minor was initially taken to SDH Tanghdar by locals from where he referred to GMC Handwara for advanced treatment. Meanwhile, Police had taken cognizance of the matter.(KNS).
