Militants make bid to attack Govt forces in north Kashmir

Srinagar: Militants fired upon a forces party near a checkpoint in Sumbal area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora on Friday evening.

A senior police official said that, ” militants fired upon the joint naka party at Sumbal, the fire was retaliated.”

The official said that the area was immediately cordoned off after the attack.
