Srinagar: Militants today attacked a police in a village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Official sources said that suspected militants attacked police party in Wanpora area of Pulwama district in which two cops got injured.
He said the militants opened fire on noticing the police party in the area.

Reinforcements, including Rashtriya Rifles personnels, have been rushed to the area to nab the attackers, the officer said.
No causalities were reported in the firing by militants, the officer said, adding further details are awaited.
