Militant held during search operation in Pulwama

Srinagar: Two persons, including a militant, were held during a search operation in Chatpura village of Pulwama district on Sunday.

An army spokesman said, a joint operation was launched  in Chatpura area of the district  late Saturday evening.

“Cordon was established and (the) person was apprehended,”  army said.

The person held revealed the presence of a militant in a nearby Madrassa.

During further search operation, a militant (name withheld) was apprehended, army spokesman said.
