MeT predicts dry weather in J&K till Feb 24

Meteorological department on Monday issued a weather advisory, stating that there is no major rain or snow forecast over Jammu and Kashmir till February 24

A possibility of light snow at isolated higher reaches is expected on February 17, followed by generally dry conditions from February 18-24.

Farmers are advised to continue their farm operations, and the public is warned against venturing into sloppy and avalanche-prone areas in snow-bound higher reaches. A gradual rise in minimum and maximum temperatures is expected at most places over the next 7 days.
