Man crushed to death by moving train

An elderly man on Sunday was crushed to death by a moving train in Manchowa in central Kashmir district of Budgam.

Official sources said a 50-year-old Yaseen Ahmad Wani, from Baghi Mehtab in Srinagar was walking on the track while talking on his mobile phone.

A speedy train moving on the way from Budgam to Srinagar hit and crushed him to death, the sources said.
He said, police removed the body and handed it over to relatives for the last rites.
