Delhi police has arrested a man for allegedly thrashing another person and forcing him chant slogans against Pakistan in north-east part of Khajuri Khas.

A video of the assault, that went viral on Tuesday shows the accused allegedly beating the man and forcing him to chant slogans like ‘Hindustan zindabad’ and ‘Pakistan murdabad.’

According to police on Wednesday night, the arrested man is said to be Ajay Goswami, who is also an accused in the Delhi riots of last year.
The video of the incident was widely circulated on the social media and on the basis of which the police registered a case and arrested the accused.
