Under the leadership of Lieutenant Governor J&K, Jammu division is witnessing fast development of tourism and recreational infrastructure.
The State-of-art Bagh-e-Bhour Park, developed to attract tourists visiting the city of temples, is all set to be dedicated to the public by the LG in the coming days.
Spread across 227 Kanal land, this sprawling park developed by the Department of Floriculture & Gardens will be one of the largest parks in the division. The Park has been built at an approx cost of Rs 511 lakh under the Capex/Languishing project head.

The major attraction of the park will be its sound and laser fountain show, whose trial run was successfully conducted today by the Department in the presence of Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr Raghav Langer.
The park will also have a rosary, a children play area, Bougainvillea theme park and barrier free access etc.
The phase-2 of Bagh-e-Bhour will also be taken up in future with development of approximately another 300 kanal of adjoining area.
The Divisional Commissioner directed Director Floriculture, Jatinder Singh and his team present on the occasion to complete the pending works at Bagh-e-Bahu at the earliest.
The Div Com remarked that all such projects with huge spin off benefits are being very closely monitored by the Rajbhawan on a regular basis.
