Scores of Engineering students of Kashmir University on Tuesday staged protest here in Press Enclave to demand online examinations.
The students pursuing B Tech at the varsity assembled at the Press Enclave and raised slogans that the authorities should hold their exams in online mode instead of offline exams.
“We have attended our classes online and can’t appear in offline exams,” one of the protesting students said.

“We have only completed half of our syllabus in each subject at the University, but the authorities are asking us to prepare for offline exams,” said a student.
The students said the authorities in JU besides the NIT have already decided to hold the examination through online mode, “but the administration at KU was adamant to hold offline exams, leaving students in distress.”
Urging Lieutenant Governor to intervene in the matter, the agitated student said that they ‘appeal Honorable LG to save their future’. “We earnestly ask for our exams be conducted in online mode”, he said.
