Srinagar: An army soldier who was critically wounded during the operation succumbed on Tuesday, army said.
In a statement, an army spokesman said that one more militant was killed in the gunfight today, taking the number of militants killed in the operation to three.
He said two soldiers who were wounded in the gunfight also succumbed.
Three security personnel, including a cop, were killed on Monday morning after militants attacked a naka party of the police and the CRPF.

“An AK rifle and three pistols were recovered,” he said, adding that the joint operation is in progress.
Another militant was killed on the second day of the operation, the officials said.
Meanwhile, mobile internet services that were snapped in some areas of the district as a precautionary measure have been restored while the operation has been called off.
