Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday stated that all necessary relief and rehabilitation measures are being taken following the tragic cloudburst in Chasoti village of Kishtwar district, which has claimed at least 65 lives so far.
In a post on social media platform X, the LG, stated that he had spoken to senior officials to review the ongoing rescue and relief efforts.
“Spoke to Senior Officials and took stock of the rescue and relief operations at Chashoti, Kishtwar. I will ensure the reconstruction of homes damaged in flash floods. I’ve also directed the senior officials for immediate relief & uninterrupted essential supplies to the affected,” he said.
