In a novel initiative aimed at bridging the academic gap between haves’ and have-nots’, Kashmir’s premier coaching Institutes, Kashmir Institute of Excellence (KIE) announced that it will offer Complete NEET Coaching online for Rs 500.

“There is a huge number of students who are competent enough to compete in any National Level Exam but lack exposure and competitive coaching, but owing to their weak economic background, they do not make it to any competitive examination,” KIE MD Kar Khursheed Aalam said at a press conference at KIE headquarters. “In order to cater for their needs and to ensure that there is competitive coaching available for all, this particular initiative is being launched.”

While addressing the press conference he also mentioned that KIE is committed to ensure that any student of J&K should not be deprived of competitive education, if he or she is willing to have it and do well for themselves and for society at large.

KIE Director Javid Ahmed Dar and GN War, Chairman Coaching Centre Association were present in the presser. They said the “groundbreaking” initiative was “historic”.

Welcoming the step, War said this is a historic and groundbreaking step in the field of education. “Free education was a long pending dream in Jammu and Kashmir in the field of coaching,” War said while congratulating the whole team of KIE for this historic move, which can reshape and redefine the future of the students. He hoped Government also must appreciate the initiative.

“For such kind of competitive coaching is lowest in the whole of India, therefore the people of Jammu and Kashmir should come out openly and appreciate the whole team of KIE so that they offer more in this particular field,” War said. “The appreciation will boost KIE confidence and morale with regard to such a noble cause.”

Javid Ahmed Dar said that it was a long pending dream which has eventually come true.

KIE has recently launched an app known as the KIE e-learning app, which is going to be the base platform for the initiative. It can be downloaded from the play store for android users and app store for the iPhone users. It has various helpful video lectures and free content will also be available, which are free.

“We are in the process to generate more and more content that can be delivered free of any cost,” said Kar. “Candidates can register themselves by logging into the official web portal of KIE www.kiesgr.org. Registration link shall remain open up to August 29, 2022, and online classes shall commence from September 1, 2022. Candidates can also download KIE e-Learning App from the Play Store and register themselves instantly.”
