A radiology student from central Kashmir’s Budgam district was found hanging in his college in Punjab, officials said.

An official said that a student identified as Umar Ahad Dev son of Abdul Ahad, a resident of Chewdara area of Budgam perusing BSC Radiology from RIMT College at GT Road, Sirhind Side, Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab was allegedly found hanging at his room.

He said Umar was studying bachelors in Radiology and Imaging Technology since 2020.
The body as per KDC has been taken for medico-legal formalities adding that a case under relevant section of law is being registered in this regard and further investigations have been set into motion.
