Islamabad: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday reportedly termed the Kashmir and Palestine issues as the United Nation’s most glaring and long-standing failures.
Virtually addressing the 75th Anniversary of the United Nations in New York, the Pak foreign minister reportedly said that the people of Kashmir still await the fulfillment of UN’s commitment made to them for granting them their long-sought right to self-determination.

Referring to the UN’s role, Pak FM said that the global body addressed a historic need “to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war”, to “reaffirm equal and fundamental rights of men and women and nations large and small”, and to “promote better life in larger freedoms”.
