JK emerging as hub of Startups

The wave of startups in Jammu and Kashmir has seen new heights in recent times. Earlier, the educated youth in the valley expected government jobs. Most people preferred government jobs because of the perks attached to it, like handsome salaries and pensions. They used to search for jobs in a hope that one day they are going to make it. In this flow, thousands of people have been applying for different posts but failed to secure them. All the years of their life were wasted. What we mean to say is that they weren’t thinking beyond it. The authorities have repeatedly reiterated that government jobs are not the solution but that self-employment is the medicine for addressing growing joblessness. The biggest reason of unemployment was the craze for securing a Government post. It is good that the trend has changed now. Youngsters are working hard to set up different types of businesses. Their creativity and hard work helped them make their own path. They have blown away the fear of failure, and their belief in themselves has finally paid them off. The best part is that they are investing confidently. Presently youngsters are focusing on skills and creativity. Their mindset has changed a lot. They now don’t regret taking loans from banks. If youngsters continue to take initiative by doing multiple businesses, then definitely unemployment rate will decline every year.
