The Jammu and Kashmir legislative assembly was adjourned till Friday in the wake of chaos over a resolution passed by the house yesterday seeking restoration of special status of the erstwhile state.
The speaker adjourned the House after ordering the marshaling out of the BJP members who continued their protest against the resolution.

Earlier, chaotic scenes were witnessed in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly as the BJP and ruling party members continued to spar over the special status resolution passed by the house yesterday.
As soon as the house convened, BJP leaders led by LoP Sunil Sharma started sloganeering to demand withdrawal of the resolution passed by the house, forcing the speaker to adjourn the house for 20 minutes.
