Three journalists were allegedly thrashed by the Army in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, while covering the Jashn-e-Baramulla function today.

The trio journalists as per the reports were thrashed after they asked to get a byte from Bollywood actress, Amisha Patel.

One of the journalist, who was also thrashed while covering the event said, “We were invited here to cover the function by the Army, however after we were covering the event and asked chief guest for a byte, we were beaten.”
Soon after the incident, journalists reportedly staged a protest against the Army for allegedly thrashing trio journalists.
