Traffic will ply from Jammu towards Srinagar on Jammu-Srinagar highway, the only road link connecting Kashmir with the outside world, on Wednesday, the officials said.
No vehicle shall be allowed in the opposite direction, a communiqué by the J&K Traffic Police said.
It asked Traffic Control Unit to release the LMVs from 0600 hours to 1100 hours from Nagrota (Jammu) and 0700 hours to 1200 hours from Jakheni (Udhampur) adding no vehicle shall be allowed before or after the cut off timing.

Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW and narrowness of Bailey bridge. They may ply from Jammu towards Srinagar after confirming the status of NHW.
