Jammu-Srinagar highway reopens for traffic

The Srinagar-Jammu highway was thrown open for the movement of LMVs Saturday morning with traffic allowed to ply from both the sides, officials said.

Reports said that the NHW, which was closed for maintenance work, has now been reopened for traffic from both sides.

Earlier, the government has conveyed that there will be no traffic on the highway for three days (Friday) including February 24, March 3 and Mar 10 for repair maintenance of critical spots on NH-44.
