A senior traffic official told GMK that traffic movement “continues” to be disrupted due to shooting stones at Panthyal. Adding that, “The highway was closed on Friday following landslides due to rains. It has been decided not to allow any fresh traffic until the debris on highway is cleared,” he said.
The official further said that, the men and machinery are on job to restore the NH, and if the restoration work is completed, only one way traffic for both HMVs/LMVs will be allowed on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from Jammu towards Srinagar, he said.
