Information Is Power

In olden times, means of communication was weak. Information was shared through sending letters which was not enough. A person had to wait for several days to receive a letter in which information was written. People were not having sufficient knowledge in those days. This is why ignorance was at its peak. At that time people could not make correct decisions because of the lack of knowledge about each other or things. People believed in myths. They trusted what they heard from others and had blind beliefs. They imitated each other and never tried to research things and people. As they had no information, this increased social evils in society. Times have changed now and so have people. In today’s world, information plays an important role for the people and the nation. People crave information to learn more about this universe. They want to know the smallest to biggest things on earth. A person who has sufficient knowledge is perceived as confident and intelligent. To stay contented we must have more information i.e. proper knowledge of what is going on around the globe. When we have the information we go deep into that subject to check whether it is right or wrong. Correct information can help in solving many puzzles related to life, people, and things. It can help achieve goals and make correct decisions from time to time. We all know that there is a lot of competition among youngsters. They do deep research on topics to excel in all fields. If they are not satisfied then they change the medium and get the rest of the information through the other. They want to know about different aspects of life. Times have gone by when people were ok with less knowledge. Youth is thirsty to gain knowledge every second. They gather knowledge to help people and gain excellence. The information helps to know the reality of this world. It makes us aware of things that are hidden. If we want to perform a pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia, we connect to the internet in the blink of an eye and gain information. It makes our tasks and journey easy. We often share information through different mediums but we must be sure that the receivers receive correct knowledge. It must not be inappropriate and not hurt the sentiments of people. The shared information should be useful to others. Many times we have seen that information on videos, audio, writings or posts is not correct. It later on creates problems for the learners. The information must be relevant and logical so that people enjoy reading it. It must be accurate and up to date and not biased and useless. When we talk about information, always focus on providing the right information. This will help people to trust the medium of the internet, newspaper, radio, television, etc. Spreading the wrong information is a crime and if someone tries to do it, they will be definitely punished for it.
