Contrary to speculation that the ceasefire would expire on Sunday, reports indicate that the understanding reached between the two nations’ Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) has no fixed deadline.
“There is no expiry date for the halt in hostilities as decided in the DGMO-level talks,” officials stated.
Sources also clarified that no further discussions between the DGMOs were planned for Sunday. The ceasefire, aimed at reducing tensions, continues without a predetermined end.
