The Internet is the decisive technology of the Information Age, and with the explosion of wireless communication in the early twenty-first century, we can say that humankind is now almost entirely connected. Internet’s impact on society is now making economic, social, and political changes around the globe. It is obvious because billion of people are using the internet in their daily life. And our actions, thoughts, and communication skills on internet is impacting society positively and negatively. The Internet is helping young people voice their opinions and express their political freedoms. This is encouraging, as it shows the positive impact of the Internet on political freedom. Increasing access to faster, cheaper internet connections may help to bring down powerful leaders.
We are all now connected by internet-like neurons in brain “Stephan Hawking”. Internet nowadays has become a necessity everyone, especially young people cannot survive without it. It is used to do school work, academic or professional work. Internet creates new ways for us to communicate, work, and share information. It is obvious that the internet will continue to change the way people live, also making a greater influence on almost all aspects of our daily life. 65.6 percent of the entire world’s population has internet access. There are 4.28 billion unique mobile internet users worldwide, which makes up 54.6 percent of the global population.
While the Internet is benefiting the world economically, its impact is not equally distributed. Digital divides are increasing and could spread across nations. This will negatively impact jobs, as well as the economic performance of countries. As a result, the impact of the Internet on modern society cannot be ignored.. Nowadays, internet is used not only in schools, offices, colleges, technical institutions, banking, and services, but also used at home. Children also use to get many benefits but disadvantages are also aside which is a part of all doing activities that we do in our life. Internet is widely used in Banks which make the work of people simple and easy by making the work or transactions in the band on time by way of accuracy. As we can see now all the work in all the departments available i.e., education, agriculture, fishery department. Without internet, nothing can get done in time through technology.
Internet has its own pros and cons, it can be very helpful to us and at the same time, it can be used to destroy/harm someone also. Internet has given rise to cybercrime of which mostly teenagers and youngsters become the victim. We all hear in our daily life about these cases for eg leaking someone’s private clips or pictures on the internet just for the sake of jealousy or taking revenge or for hacking. But the internet is not bad in all senses as it gives us access to the world. With internet, one can see and talk to the person in the other corner of the world. Also, we get access to many things which make our life so much easier, we can order food or grocery or shop or chat or send emails which was not possible without the internet. The Internet is now our lifeline and it is very difficult to imagine our life without the internet.
Internet allows us to know what’s happening in the world and gives us access to it, for e.g. through internet only everyone got to know about this essay competition. Internet if used in the correct and careful manner then it is the most powerful and useful thing one can have. As we know, most software costs us quite a lot, if we buy it legally. Free software, as well as free music, is available on the internet, which again attracts us. One just has to download the program file, the mp3-file or any other file available and that’s it.
The Internet has changed our lives in every manner and there is no doubt about it There are tons of advantages of the internet that shows us the importance of this new and useful medium. But it comes with a lot of disadvantages also, and if we are able to overcome those disadvantages then internet can be the best thing ever.
Today, the majority of communication is done online, whether it be through social media, WhatsApp, or an essential official email that you may read and respond to, after working hours For all of us, it is a blessing in disguise since it makes communication simple and everything happens instantly because of the internet.
The internet permeates every part of our life and has a significant impact on how we continually interact with people. Since 2005, social media platforms have opened up new possibilities.
