Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday claimed to have registered an IED weighing 30-35 kg in Khanmoh area of Srinagar.

A police spokesman in a statement said that on a specific input regarding the presence of militants in Khanmoh area of Srinagar, a joint operation was launched by Police and 50RR.
The spokesman in a statement said that during search of orchards area, an IED weighing 30-35Kgs recovered.
“Bomb disposal squad called on spot and IED is being destroyed in situ,” a police spokesman said.
