Srinagar: Amid Rains and snowfall hundreds of people on Monday remembered the young and noted Journalist, Mudasir Ali on his ‘Chahrum’ and offered Fateh Khawani at his residence at Charar-e-Sharief in central Kashmir’s Budgam District.
Mudasir Ali, a 37 year old, was working with a Srinagar based daily, and a Delhi based online news portal “The Wire”. He died of cardiac arrest on Friday morning at his home in Charar-e-Sharif.
Hundreds of people including people from Journalistic fraternity and writers participated in his ‘Chahrum’ that was held in his home in Charar-e-Sharif.

A program in the memory of Mudasir Ali was also organized by ‘Markazi Adab-wa-Sakafat’ Charar-e-Sharif. The speakers mourn the death of Mudasir.
They termed the sudden death of Mudasir Ali as a very big loss to Journalistic fraternity.
Haji Bashir Ahmed Baba, a relatives of the departed soul present the vote of thanks, “We are going to set up a Trust in the name of Mudasir Ali that will work for the benefit and well-being of humanity,” he said.
The sudden demise of noted journalist Mudasir Ali was widely condoled across Jammu and Kashmir.
