New Delhi: Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh said they regretted supporting Shahid Afridi’s call for assistance to his charity as both expressed disappointment after Shahid Afridi was seen making comments against PM Modi in a video posted on social media.

Last month, Harbhajan and Yuvraj had posted videos in support of ‘Shahid Afridi Foundation’ which was raising funds for people affected by coronavirus pandemic. The two were trolled by many sections on social media for supporting an organisation in Pakistan.
“Really disappointed by @SAfridiOfficial‘s comments on our Hon’b PM @narendramodi ji. As a responsible Indian who has played for the country, I will never accept such words. I made an appeal on your behest for the sake of humanity. But never again,” tweeted Youraj Singh.
