Gunfight rages in Jammu 

An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in the Majalta area of Udhampur district of Jammu Kashmir on Tuesday.

Official sources said that security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area following specific inputs about the presence of terrorists.

During the operation, terrorists opened fire on the security forces, triggering an encounter.

Additional reinforcements have been rushed to the area, while the operation is underway.
