Gunfight rages in Central Kashmir’s Budgam

Srinagar : Gunfight starts between militants and government forces in Nagam area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday morning.

An official said that a joint team of government forces including Army, Police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in the Nagam area of the district.

As the joint team encircled the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them. The fire was retaliated by the joint team, triggering off a gunfight.
