Srinagar: A gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Parigam village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday.
According to the Police, a joint team of government forces launched a search operation in Parigam area of the district.

As the joint team encircled the suspected area, the hiding militants fired upon them. The fire was retaliated by the joint team, triggering off an encounter.
