In a post on social media platform X, Home Minister Amit Shah said: “The Modi government is relentless in punishing drug traffickers who endanger our youth for profit. Under PM Modi’s leadership, we remain committed to a drug-free Bharat with ruthless and thorough investigations. #NashaMuktBharat”

Recently, courts across the country have convicted 29 drug traffickers in 12 different cases, thanks to the rigorous investigations led by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). These convictions demonstrate the success of the government’s “Bottom to Top” and “Top to Bottom” strategy against drug crime.
