The Sopore Working Journalists Association (SWJA) on Wednesday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of the maternal aunt of Bilal Ahmad Dar, who is associated with Good Morning Kashmir.
In a condolence message, the SWJA said the entire media fraternity stands in solidarity with Dar and his bereaved family during this hour of grief. The association offered prayers for the departed soul, seeking Almighty Allah’s mercy and the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous for the deceased.
“We pray to the Almighty to grant the departed soul eternal peace and give the bereaved family the strength, patience, and courage to bear this irreparable loss,” the SWJA said in its statement.
Meanwhile, Javed Shah, Editor-in-Chief of Good Morning Kashmir, also extended his heartfelt condolences to Bilal Ahmad Dar and his family. In a separate message, Shah prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed solidarity with the grieving family, wishing them fortitude to cope with the loss.
Several other journalist bodies and political leaders have also conveyed their sympathies with family.
