Public sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have assured that the supply of petrol, diesel, and domestic LPG remains uninterrupted across all districts of Jammu & Kashmir, even as global uncertainties continue to impact the oil and gas sector.
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) are maintaining normal operations through an extensive network of terminals, depots, LPG bottling plants, and retail outlets across the Union Territory.
“Fuel dispensing operations are continuing smoothly across all outlets in Jammu and Kashmir and the supplies are being maintained without any restrictions, in line with prescribed safety and operational norms,” said Himanshu Sharma, State Level Coordinator for the Oil Industry.
Sharma informed that adequate stocks of petroleum products are available across the supply chain, and replenishment is being carried out continuously to meet demand efficiently. LPG supplies to domestic consumers are also progressing normally, with deliveries taking place across the Union Territory without disruption.
The Coordinator further noted that OMCs are closely coordinating on logistics, stock positioning, and distribution planning to ensure uninterrupted energy access for citizens.
Appealing to the public, Sharma urged consumers to continue with normal purchasing behaviour, avoid panic buying, and rely solely on official communications issued by OMCs regarding fuel availability.
“The overall supply situation remains stable and under constant monitoring,” he stressed.
