Forces launch search operation in Sopore village

Government forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) on Friday evening in Saidapora – Sopore area of north Kashmir district of Baramulla.

The search operation was launched in Saidapora area of the town.

Official sources  told Good Morning Kashmir that special operation group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police, CRPF and soldiers from Rashtriya Rifles (RR) launched a joint search operation and conducted searches.

All exit points were sealed by the forces, they said adding later house to house search was launched.

The operation was going on when the reports last came in.
