Forces launch search operation in Budgam village

Government forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Bhat Pethzanigam Beerwa  in central Kashmir’s district Budgam.

A joint team of the army’s 53-RR, SOG, Jammu Kashmir Police cordoned off Pethzanigam Beerwa village and conducted house to house searches there, officials said.

Reports said that all entry and exit points towards the area were sealed off by the government forces.

Searches were going on in the area when reports last came in.
