Despite weather challenges, the Border Roads ensured early movement of the traffic on Zojila road, considered as the historical achievement on Zojila’s history .
Over 4000 vehicles loaded with essential commodities and the movement of the civilian traffic kept plying on either side of Zojilla pass at an altitude of 11500 fts in the month of December was a big achievement says Brig I K Jaggi Chief Engineer while inspecting the traffic movement and the road conditions at the Zojila Pass .

The BRO personnel stood up to the challenge and ensured that all the Ladakh and Kashmir bound vehicles reaches to their respective destinations before the official closer of the Highway .
Officials said that Border Roads shall leave no stone unturned to ensure the early reopening of the Srinagar –Leh Highway . Adding that BRO has worked out plan for early reopening of this highway .
