An encounter broke out on Thursday between Security Forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore town. The gunfight erupted in Sagipora of the district. Two to three terrorists are believed to be trapped in the area.
Security forces launched a cordon and search operation after the presence of terrorists in the area. The joint operation was launched by the Indian Army and the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
