Islamabad: Pakistan’s Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Monday announced that Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on July 31 according to the Islamic calendar issued by his ministry.
Taking to Twitter, Chaudhry said that the Zil Haj moon will be seen “over Karachi and its peripheral areas on July 21”.
As per calender of @MinistryofST Eid-Al-Adha shall be celebrated on Fiday,31st July 2020. On 21st July ZeAlHaj moon shall be visible over Karachi and it’s peripheral areas, “Ruet”App may also be used to ascertain exact location of the moon. #Eid

Chaudhry as per the Pak mefia was of the opinion that the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee needs to adopt technology and its scholars need to “wield themselves” in accordance with the requirements of today.
