Education does not mean to read and write only. It gives identity to an individual. An individual has his own beliefs and opinions whether a boy or a girl. He has the power to distinguish between what’s right or what is wrong. This is what Education gives to him. Education helps an individual to develop his personality traits in the best way possible. According to MK Gandhi, “Education is drawing out the best in man’s body, mind, and soul.” The modern, developed, and industrialized world is running on the wheels of education. To be able to survive in the competitive world, we all need education as a torch that leads the way.
Education is a process which includes two personalities – Educator and Educand. In this advanced stage, the child still requires a teacher to tell him what to do and what not to do. An educator has a huge responsibility on his shoulders to make the nation strong by polishing its gems but if that educator does not give his all, he would be busy with petty issues, he would neglect his job because of the unruly behavior of some of the students that completely wrong because such kind of behavior has its bad impact on the innocent children/ youth. There remain some confusions left with themselves which could never be cleared after that certain time period is over. An Educator should modify himself like a guide, a mentor in Educand‘s life. He has to make tulips merry in the garden in a jocund way. He should be an inspiration for his students. He should update himself with changing times. Whatever his job is – to teach and motivate students, he should do that in the best way possible. He has to make students aware of the hardships of life. He should make students aware of the importance of hard work and perseverance in life.
Education is light which curtails ignorance. Education should be provided in the best way possible. Parents should do their part by inculcating good virtues in children and educators should try to give the best shape possible to children through motivation and appreciation. According to MK Gandhi,”3 H‘s should be properly developed in child i.e, Head, Heart and Hand”. He should be able to earn bread and butter for himself. Education gives you opportunities to explore yourself, and your surroundings and empowers you to understand the ways of the world. It gives you the freedom to live a life of your choice.
The stakeholders of education, namely, governments, organizations, and students themselves agree on its multidimensional essentiality. High-quality education, particularly tertiary education is a major catalyst of development in families across the income spectrum. Further, with the integration of multidimensional goals, the importance of education has been accentuated and individuals have grown more conscious of the environment and society developing an awareness lacking in previous generations. One of the most important benefits of education is that it improves personal lives and helps the society to run smoothly. By providing education, poverty can be removed and every person can provide their contribution to developing the country.
Education is imperative when it comes to building a modern society. When people learn about things like culture, history, and science, they can view problems from a much-informed perspective. Education teaches values and helps in the development of society as a whole. It gives people a chance to mold themselves into more responsible members of society. There should be no compromise from parents, educational institutions, and educators to provide the best as parents try to make every facility possible for their child; the rest lies with the educators whom we find in the classroom via online /offline mode – An educator should try to provide most of the useful information to Educand along with the Educand being himself involved.
Don’t waste these precious years of these young minds who themselves don’t know what to do but can be molded in the best way. Youth is the future of society. To foster development, everyone has to play his role in the most appropriate manner as Time and Tide waits for none.
